Hey y’all, it is fall and I have some cool things going on.  I can’t wait to catch up.

September 23rd, I will be hosting the legendary Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree.  If you are out of town, tune in at www.wsmonline.com at 12 midnight.

September 28th,  I am heading down to Murfreesboro, Tennessee to celebrate Justin Reed’s 200th show on WMTS with a live broadcast on the town square.

September 29th and 30th is the annual Buck Creek Trailride in Alamo, Tennessee.  This is the third benefit of the year I perform for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.  It is an amazing cause.  And we will be presenting a big check from the Country With Heart Show on stage.  Plus, I will share a stage with the great Ned LeDoux, Chris LeDoux’s son.

October 5th, is the annual R.O.P.E. banquet.  I am still shocked and honored to be nominated for the Songwriter of the Year award with R.O.P.E. (Reunion of Professional Entertainers). Greats like Whisperin Bill Anderson, Jeannie Seely, Casey Anderson, Gene Watson and Willie Nelson are in this category, so this just made my year.

Then, I am going out west to Arizona for Rex Allen Days. My buddy Rex Allen Jr. is retiring from touring and there will be some big shows out in Willcox that weekend.  In case you didn’t know, Rex Allen Jr. produced my song, The Cowboy Way and a duet with me and Johnny Rodriguez.

October 22nd, I will be on the Music Row Show on WSM with Scott Southworth.  I hope you will listen in 9pm to 10pm central time at 650 AM WSM or www.wsmonline.com.

The band will be back in Tunica, Mississippi at the end of October.  Full band, dance floor and some great games…it is a winning combo.  If you get a chance, please visit the calendar page for all of the upcoming shows.

November 10th, I will be on the Penny Gilley show on RFD-TV. Penny is so sweet and talented.  It really was an honor. And trust me, this show is all about country music.  We taped it at the great honky tonk, Lil’ Red’s Longhorn Saloon in Fort Worth, Texas.

And it is never too early to plan for 2018.  I am hitting the water.  I’d love for you to come along on the Country Legends At Sea cruise on April 18, 2018 with myself, T. Graham Brown, Ronnie Mc Dowell, Mandy Barnett, Lulu Roman and HeeHaw Honeys, plus so many more stars.  Be sure and register soon for a great steal.  The ship is amazing.  We are going to have a blast. www.countrylegendsatsea.com.

One last request, please keep everyone affected by the hurricanes in your prayers and lend a hand when you can.  I have friends and family in Texas.  I am ready and willing for any benefits.  My hero Ernest Tubb coined my motto, “Be Better To Your Neighbors and You Will Have Better Neighbors.”  Be good to one another.

God Bless,

Bobby Marquez
